This 14-day luxury journey combines Tanzania’s iconic Northern Circuit safari—Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Ndutu, and Serengeti—with a relaxing Zanzibar beach escape. Enjoy immersive wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, and hand-selected luxury accommodations.

Route Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport → Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private professional safari guide. After a short briefing, transfer to your luxury lodge in Arusha for rest and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National Park – Walking Safari & Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed park ranger. Explore the lush forest, spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, and enjoy views of Mount Meru.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic game drive before returning to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Depart for Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy your first game drive across the beautiful savannah.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Tarangire

Spend the day exploring Tarangire’s diverse landscapes in search of lions, leopards, elephants, and migratory wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served in the wild.

Day 5: Cultural Tour – Mto wa Mbu → Karatu

After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural walking or cycling tour. Engage with local communities, visit farms and markets, and enjoy a freshly prepared local hot lunch.

Later, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Full-Day Game Drive

Descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife including black rhino, lions, hyenas, elephants, and abundant plains game. Enjoy a full-day game drive with lunch on the crater floor.

Day 7: Ngorongoro → Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

Drive to the Ndutu area, famous for the Great Migration calving season, big cats, and wide-open wilderness. Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 8: Ndutu → Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue into the Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. Afternoon game drive en route to your luxury camp or lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti – Balloon Safari & Game Drive

Rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Serengeti plains, followed by a celebratory champagne breakfast.

Continue with game drives throughout the day.

Day 10: Morning Game Drive → Fly to Zanzibar

Enjoy an early morning game drive before your transfer to the Serengeti airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort for relaxation.

Day 11: Full-Day Prison Island & Sandbank Excursion

After breakfast, depart for Prison Island (Changuu Island) for snorkeling, wildlife viewing, and relaxation. Continue to a pristine sandbank for swimming and leisure before returning to your hotel.

Day 12: Jozani Forest Tour

Visit Jozani Forest, home to the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey. Explore the mangrove boardwalks and forest trails before returning to your hotel for leisure time.

Day 13: Stone Town Tour or Beach Leisure

Today you may choose a guided Stone Town historical tour—visiting markets, the Old Fort, Sultan’s Palace, and narrow Swahili alleyways—or simply relax on Zanzibar’s white-sand beaches.

Day 14: Departure – Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport or take a connecting flight to Dar es Salaam for your international departure.
