Route Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Meet and greet by your driver-guide and transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive. Explore the park’s diverse wildlife, elephant herds, giant baobabs, and scenic river valleys.

Day 3: Full-Day Tarangire Safari

Another full day in Tarangire for deeper wildlife exploration. Enjoy a relaxed and flexible game drive schedule.

Day 4: Tarangire – Maasai Village Visit – Karatu

Early breakfast then drive toward Karatu. En route, visit an authentic Maasai village to meet and interact with the Maasai people. Learn about their culture, traditions, and pastoral lifestyle. Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Drive to Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater descent and game drive inside the world’s largest intact caldera.

Around 15:00hrs, ascend the crater and continue into the Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.

Day 6: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Spend the whole day exploring Serengeti. Enjoy incredible wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and—depending on season—the Great Migration.

Day 7: Serengeti – Lake Natron / Ol Doinyo Lengai

Depart Serengeti and drive to Lake Natron, located at the base of the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano.
Enjoy dramatic landscapes, Maasai settlements, and volcanic scenery along the route.

Activities: Scenic transfer, Cultural interactions & Evening rest before climb

Day 8: Lake Natron – Waterfall - Flamingo Viewing – Lengai Night Climb

After breakfast, take a guided walk to the Engaresero waterfalls—a refreshing and scenic experience.

Return for lunch and relaxation.

Late evening, drive to Lake Natron shoreline for flamingo spotting and stunning sunset views. At around 10:00pm, begin the night climb of Ol Doinyo Lengai with your mountain guide. Hike 6–8 hours through volcanic terrain to reach the summit by sunrise for unforgettable views.

Day 9: Descend – Drive to Arusha – Departure

Descend from Ol Doinyo Lengai in the morning and return to camp for a late breakfast.
After resting, drive back to Arusha for your international flight departure.

Physical Condition: Prepare for a challenging climb with steep slopes and loose volcanic ash.
Weather: Dress in layers for changing temperatures from cold summit winds to warm lowlands.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water before and during the climb.

Footwear: Strong hiking boots with good grip, Good ankle support
