Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to Arusha—the safari capital of northern Tanzania and gateway to iconic parks.

Settle into your lodge, enjoy a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay as you prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park

After breakfast and a comprehensive safari briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy a scenic drive followed by your first game drive. Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards.

In the late afternoon, head to your lodge/camp for sunset views, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Tarangire

Start your day with an early breakfast, then depart with packed lunch for an extensive game drive in Tarangire.

 

Explore different habitats—from riverine forests to open savannah—while tracking wildlife. Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site, often surrounded by grazing elephants and stunning landscapes.

Your guide will provide insightful interpretation of wildlife behavior and ecosystems throughout the day.

Return to camp in the late afternoon for sunset photography, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire → Karatu via Maasai Village

After breakfast, enjoy a final en-route game drive through Tarangire as you exit the park.

Proceed toward Karatu, with a cultural stop at a traditional Maasai village. Engage in authentic cultural experiences, including traditional dances, homestead visits, and learning about Maasai customs.

Continue to your lodge in Karatu for a hot lunch, followed by leisure time to relax and enjoy the peaceful highland environment.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti National Park

Depart early after breakfast for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas.

Descend into the crater for a game drive, with opportunities to see the Big Five, including black rhino. Enjoy lunch on the crater floor near a hippo pool.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater and continue to Serengeti National Park. After park entry formalities at the main gate, proceed with a game drive en route to Central Serengeti.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 6: Full-Day in Central Serengeti

Begin with an early morning game drive—prime time for predator activity—accompanied by a packed breakfast.

Return to camp for a hot lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, head out again for an evening game drive, enjoying scenic landscapes and wildlife activity as the sun sets over the plains.

Optional coffee stops at a scenic viewpoint before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti → Lake Natron & Ol Doinyo Lengai Trek

After early breakfast, depart for the northern exit of the Serengeti with a game drive en route. Stop for lunch before exiting the park.

Continue to Lake Natron, a dramatic and remote landscape known for its flamingos and volcanic scenery.

After dinner and preparation, begin your night ascent of Ol Doinyo Lengai (the “Mountain of God”) around 22:00 hrs. This active volcano offers a unique and challenging trekking experience under the stars.

Day 8: Ol Doinyo Lengai → Lake Natron Recovery

After descending the mountain at sunrise, your guide will transfer you back to camp for breakfast and a well-deserved hot lunch.

Spend the afternoon at leisure or opt for a guided walk to nearby waterfalls—perfect for relaxation after the climb.

Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 9: Lake Natron → Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walk along Lake Natron, where you can observe flamingos and admire the surreal alkaline lake landscape.

Return to camp for an early lunch, then drive back to Arusha, enjoying scenic views along the way.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your domestic or international flight.
